The KLC Mission Team helps plan and support the mission and ministry of Kindred Lutheran Church.
Throughout the year, different mission projects and causes are brought forth by the mission team. Each of these projects and causes are vital to our work as the church and support those in need in our community, our state, our country, and our world.
Below you will find some of the mission work we support.
At 6:00pm each Wednesday during Lent, the committies of KLC prepare and serve a soup and sandwich meal. The procedes from this meal go to support a hunger initative within North Dakota.
Meals are free will offering and are followed by a short worship service.
For our Wednesday night Lenten services, the mission team picks out a global cause to support.
The offering from our Lenten services is then donated to that global cause as we work to be Christians who make a difference not only here at home but throughout the world.
Collected during February, the Love Offering goes toward a local cause.
Special envelopes are used to collect this offering during our regular offering time of the service.
Recent collections have gone to families dealing with health issues and those who have been impacted by unforseen circumstances.
If you know of a local cause for our Love Offering, please contact the office.
