Get Baptized

God has chosen you.  God calls you into his presence.  He calls you by name and claims you as his very own.  Through baptism we are all given a new birth by water and the Holy Spirit and become children of our heavenly Father through Jesus Christ.  Baptism marks the beginning of our calling to live as disciples of Jesus Christ.  Every day we remember our baptism and live in the confidence of God’s promises!

If you or a loved one are looking to be baptized, or to have your child baptized, please fill out the form by clicking the button below or call the church office to schedule a baptism.

Please know that we prefer to do public Baptisms during our regularly scheduled services, because in baptism promises are made by the candidate for baptism, or by their parents if the candidate is unable to speak for themselves, and by the congregation on behalf of the entire church. If you are adamant on a private baptism and would like to schedule one, please fill out the form by clicking the button below and Pastor Kyle will be in contact with you regarding private baptism.

We believe in one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. This means that if you have been baptized in any Christian tradition, that is all that you need. There is no need to get rebaptized. If you are interested in affirming your baptism, please contact the office to talk with Pastor Kyle about this process.

Why do we Baptize?
John the Baptist tells us, “I baptize you with water for repentance, but the one who is coming after me is more powerful than I, and I am not worthy to carry his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.”

Jesus declares, “Very truly, I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God without being born of water and Spirit.”
– John 3:5
Jesus commands, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
– Matthew 28:18-20
And Peter proclaims, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins may be forgiven, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is for you, for your children, and for all who are far away, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to him.”
